Forvis, the accounting and advisory firm that was created in 2022 after the merger of Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG) and BKD, recorded revenue of $1,685,539,000 for the fiscal year ending May 31, a 13.3% increase over the previous fiscal year, the firm said in its inaugural annual report.
That puts Forvis in the eighth spot among the top 10 accounting firms in the U.S. by revenue, according to INSIDE Public Accounting. DHG and BKD had combined revenues of roughly $1.5 billion in FY 2022.
“It’s been a thrilling year for our firm and our people,” CEO Tom Watson said in a press release. “Since Forvis was created in June of 2022, we have accomplished so much, together. I’m continually inspired—but not surprised—by what our people are doing each day. We’re fulfilling our purpose by unlocking potential for our clients and for each other.”
The firm said revenues grew in each of its three major service lines—advisory, assurance, and tax—and its 10 core industry practices, but the report does not provide revenue totals for each service line or industry practice.
Forvis has more than 6,000 team members serving clients across the globe through more than 70 offices in 27 states, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Cayman Islands.
